Weekly review: plans for W52

Week 52 tasks

Study and knowledge
  • continue reading books on stock investing
  • continue reviewing my math textbooks
  • continue reading the Java textbook: Programmeringsprinciper i Java by Fadil Galjic
  • use mnemosyne to drill my flashcards in the following sets
    • philosophy
    • mathematics
    • Java programming
    • stock investing
    • review Brian Tracy's Create Your Future and mine everything useful. Create flashcard lists.
  • finish reading Free Culture by Lawrence Lessig
  • start reading Unclutter Your Life in One Week
Organization
  • improve my org-mode skills and planning (using org-mode agedae more intensively)
  • formulate one productivity idea daily
  • review my habit change plans
  • follow the week schedule plan as close as possible
  • work with my personal goal formulations using Brian Tracy's methods
  • get back to writing the work log
  • create time report for December

  • At least 15 min of daily flashcard repetition using boomeLang in top priority languages: English and Swedish.
    • English queue: 3990 flashcards
    • Swedish queue: 6560 flashcards
  • learn the collected flashcards with new Swedish words and expressions.

  • continue reviewing chord progressions for jazz tunes on flashcards.
  • continue reviewing old jazz standards and do exercises


Week 51 tasks

To sum it up, the week has been a rather big lapse. Need to improve and get back to the planning routine.
Knowledge
  • [X] start reading one of the ordered books on investing
    • Read Investera som Mästarna: från Aktiestinsen till Soros by Johan Bernhardsson
    • Almost finished Investeringsstrategier från Rom till New York by Jonas Jakobson
  • [X] start reading Unclutter Your Life in One Week - didn't have time to start this one yet
  • [X] start reviewing my math textbooks
  • [X] use mnemosyne
    • review Brian Tracy's Create Your Future and mine everything useful. Create flashcard lists.
  • [X] finish reading Free Culture by Lawrence Lessig - didn't prioritize this one
Languages
  • [X] At least 15 min of daily flashcard repetition using boomeLang in top priority languages: English and Swedish.
  • [X] learn the collected flashcards with new Swedish words and expressions. Marked lots of new vocabulary while reading the new books

Physical
There were a few serious lapses from my nutrition plans. Had to recompense by doing extra cardio, but managed to combine this with reading.
  • [X] Stick to Scooby's intermediate workout plan - /I am following this plan very successfully. Prefer extended cardio workouts (1 hour of cardio on a treadmill) in order to achieve my weight goal of 72.5 kg (BMI 21.0)/.
Blogging
  • [X] at least three blog posts. /Only one :( A new post to FLOSS Verkstad on Linux shells is almost complete/.
Music
  • [X] continue reviewing chord progressions for jazz tunes on flashcards.
  • [X] continue reviewing old jazz standards and do exercises
  • [X] One rehearsal
